I bet you all forgot I even existed if you're even reading this at all. Sooo, I really need to update this blog. Lol. It says in my profile that I'm 16... I'm 18 guys! A little off. It's so weird I still remember the effing password to this account. It's like a miracle because I can barely remember my Facebook & twitter passwords & I use those daily. Anyways lemme get you caught up.
First & foremost. I'm currently in COLLEGE. Yes, you heard me. I didn't drop out of high school. Lol. But for real. I really love college. High school was a nightmare & I feel like college is this whole new world. (No Aladdin reference intended.) I've made a lot of new friends & I feel like we've known each other forever. My roomie is super cool & we get along really well.
I'm involved in Circle K International, which is this volunteer organization on campus, along with Habitat for Humanity, which helps to build homes for people who can't afford it. I really like both of those so far.
These are the classes I'm taking for first semester:
- Women's Studies
- Ethnic Politics
- World of the Arts
- Individuals & Society
- Math 143 (Math for Business & Social Science)
- New Student Seminar
Yes, they are all really random classes. I just picked a bunch of random stuff that sounded interesting to me & so far my favorite is Individuals & Society.
I think the best thing about the whole college life is FREEDOM. Like there is so much of it. You can hang with whoever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want, however you want. You can wear, eat, speak, & pretty much anything you can imagine however you want to. It's kick ass.
I still don't know my majoy but I'm in between the following:
- Nursing
- Psychology
- Sociology
Isn't it weird how the girl who used to be deathly afraid of needles suddenly wants to be a nurse? Odd. Anyways, I'm really loving college even though I do miss my family & bestie like crazy. So glad my family is coming up this weekend for Family Fest.
